why an estimate and not a quotation, well unlike other companies, we feel it is unfair to trick you into believing that the quote is a final price, for example, we will give an estimate and stick to the price, but in certain circumstances, it would be impossible to foresee all potential problems that are in the fabric of the building on a survey without lifting carpets, floor boards etc, for example whilst working we lift a floor board and find asbestos, we cannot work on, BY LAW in this instance even with a quotation, it would cost you more money for the licensed removal of the substance...hence an estimate, as long as we carry out exactly what is detailed in the estimate, that is the price, if we can give a fixed quotation ,we will.

Estimates are free for new heating installations and bathrooms etc we will charge a fee for a gas fire survey, or gas heating appliance repair.
